VSC Coaching Requirements

Pre-season

Complete the following requirements (Annually, every Fall prior to season start)

• Complete the SAY Soccer Background Check and forward email to [email protected]
• Complete the NFHS Concussion Training
• Complete the NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course

Complete one time

• Register and complete the USSF Introduction to Grassroots Coaching

Complete first time, then after 3 years, then every 5 years after

• Complete U.S. SafeSport certification

Complete prior to the start of each season

• Attend the VSC Pre-season Coaches Meeting - Invitations will be provided to all coaches before the start of each season

Forward certificates from the courses above to [email protected] with the subject "Preseason Coaching Requirements".

It will also be required for coaches to attend the following meetings.
